Carves decorative designs on wood smoking pipes to correct
defects, using carving machine or pneumatically powered portable
drill: Places designated carving bit in carving machine or drill
chuck and tightnes bit in chuck, using chuck wrench or pliers.
Pushes button to satrt rotation of carving bit. Holds smoking
pipe bowl and shank against bit to recarve designated pattern to
specified depth on patched pipe or to correct carving defects.
